Oven not heating evenly or not heating at all — one of the more predictable calls we get, and one of the easiest to sort into cheap-fix or replace.
3 Things That Decide This
- Bake element vs. control board. Elements are cheap and common. Control boards cost more.
- Sensor probe. Often mistaken for “the oven runs hot now” — an inexpensive fix.
- Age. Past 12 years, digital control parts get harder to source.
Ballpark Pricing: $125–$270 for element/sensor. Control board repairs run higher. New wall ovens run $700–$2,000+.
